Job Description: Pump Engineer
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, with participation in an on-call rota (emergency call-outs once every four weeks)

As a rapidly growing company, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Pump Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to take on exciting challenges in a fast-paced and supportive environment, where you will play a key role in servicing, maintaining, and installing pumps and related control systems.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for servicing both domestic and commercial pumping systems, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of equipment. Additionally, you will be involved in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing components as well as providing exceptional customer service. This full-time role includes participation in an on-call rota, with one weekend emergency call-out every four weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and install domestic and commercial pumping systems and associated control systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve faults quickly and efficiently.
- Perform repairs and install components as required.
- Generate detailed reports on completed work and system performance.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, addressing any concerns or issues.
- Conduct monthly stock checks on spare parts and tools.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Pump Engineer with the following qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of pumps and control systems.
- Electrical competence with a strong understanding of related systems.
- Proven experience in servicing and repairing a variety of pumping systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and procedures.
- Valid CSCS card and Confined Space Certification.
- A flexible and adaptable attitude, eager to learn and develop skills further.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience servicing and repairing pumps.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to participate in the emergency call-out rota.
